Join us on Saturday, April 29, 2017 for our annual Mental Health 1K and 5K at Winona East Lake Park! Run, walk, or watch with the stroller, kids, or the entire family! It’s up to YOU! Your participation in this event will make a positive impact on the lives of children receiving mental health services. All funds raised will go directly to benefit mental health services for children and their families. Please note that there are a few changes this year, the event will be chip-timed to help with accuracy! Additionally, we are not a part of the Mississippi Medley as we have been in past years – all registration must go through our website.
Regular Registration Rates: $20 – Adults and $15 – Children (Ages 7-17) April 1st – 29th, 2017.
Online Registration has closed. You can register the day of the event starting at 8:45AM at Lake Lodge!
10:00AM: 5K Race begins
10:15AM: 1K begins at Lake Lodge and ends at Jaycee Pavilion

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Is the MH5K for only for serious runners? No! Anyone can participate in the MH5K: walkers, runners, all age groups, anyone with a desire to improve their Physical Health for Mental Wealth! Not sure if you can participate in the 5K series? No problem! Our 1K series is designed for families, children, and individuals who’d like to participate in a fun run/walk!
- Can I bring a stroller? Absolutely! Families are encouraged to participate and bring strollers and wagons! Families are able to participate in the 5K or 1K series!
REFUND & WEATHER POLICY:
During events there is always the potential for extreme or severe weather conditions. Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center and race directors will do as much as we can to make the experience as safe as possible. However, if there is severe weather, the race may be delayed. If there is more than a reasonable delay, or if conditions persist, race directors reserve the right to shorten or cancel the race. Entry fees are non-refundable. Please check this webpage and your email before the race for any changes or cancellations. If you are already at the event, listen to the announcer about any weather changes that may occur. If you are unable to attend the 5K event you will have 1 week after the event to contact Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center at 507-454-4341 to arrange to pick up your race packet and t-shirt.
