Home Based Services

Home-based services are therapeutic services typically provided in the family's home and funded by the family's county Social Services. The primary focus is to address issues within the family system including relationship issues between family members and/or external systems such as school systems.

Services are founded upon the following four principles:

•  All members of the household are to be considered the focus of service.

• Children need and have a right to belong to a family.

• Home-based services will support each family member's right and responsibility for self-determination and human dignity.

• Families are encouraged to seek and use the resources and support systems of the community of which they are a member.

• Home Based Services are currently provided in Wabasha and Houston County.
