Day Treatment:

Provides mental health and academic support services to children and adolescents that struggle with emotional disturbances and Serious Emotional Disturbances (SED) along with their families. The primary focus is on the reduction in intensity and frequency of unwanted mental health symptoms and/or behaviors and an increase in skills to manage life experiences. The end goal is to fully transition the student back to their home school.

Dover Day Treatment (grades 6-12):

This program is a partnership between the Mental Health Center and  Hiawatha Valley Education District. Services are provided at Valley View Learning Center in Dover, MN. This is a full-school day program where the students are involved in skills training, group therapy, one-to-one therapy, and family therapy along with on-site academics.

Hokah Day Treatment:


This program is a partnership between Houston County Social Services and the school district in Houston County. Services are provided at Bluff Country Learning Options in Hokah, MN.  This is a half day program where students are involved in mornings of mental health group, individual therapy, and skills training. Academics are not a component of this program.
