Children’s Therapeutic  Services and Supports (CTSS) Skills Practitioner, Wabasha County: The CTSS Skills Practitioner provides direct therapeutic skill building to children/adolescents with a severe emotional disturbance (SED) that has resulted in mental health functional skill deficits in the home, school or community environments. The applicant will provide individual and family skills in accordance with CTSS guidelines to clients and their families in the home, school or community, facilitate student groups on relevant issues when appropriate, complete documentation in a timely manner, maintain case files, participate in client IEP meetings and other client related school meetings with parent(s)/guardian(s) and other providers, update treatment plans, and track progress toward identified goals. Treatment plans are developed and implemented collaboratively with treating therapist. Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with school personnel and county agency staff is essential to position.

Applicant must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain valid auto insurance.  Must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, 2,000 hours of supervised practice in the mental health field preferred.
