The Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) program is a flexible package of mental health services for children who require varying therapeutic and rehabilitative levels of intervention. The program is offered in Houston, Fillmore, Wabasha, and Winona counties on an individual, family, and group basis.
CTSS addresses the conditions of emotional disturbances that impair and interfere with an individual’s ability to function independently. For children with emotional disturbances, rehabilitation means that services are provided to restore the child to a level of functioning that they either had or would have achieved if normal development had not been impaired by a mental health disorder.
Any child receiving CTSS must has Medical Assistance, a Pre-Paid Medical Assistance Plan or another approved insurance. Mental health providers can meet with children and their families in home, school, or other appropriate community setting.
