Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center now offers virtual visits using Microsoft Teams with our providers to make it easy for our patients to connect with their health care provider from home.

Instructions to Telemedicine Using Teams

The below screenshots may be used as a support tool to guide you through the process required to participate in a Virtual Visit. Instructions are below for using Microsoft Teams on a Personal Computer, an iPhone, or an Android device.

  1. You will receive an email with a link to join the meeting/visit when meeting is scheduled to start.
  1. Use Teams on the web on a personal computer, or install the Teams app on your smart phone.

Click the “Join Microsoft Team Meeting” link in the email OR calendar. If you click Yes to RSVP, the appointment will be on your calendar.

FAQ

Connect with you provider if you would like to switch your appointment to Telemedicine.  In addition, when you schedule an appointment you can request Telemedicine.

We accept all insurances however, we recommend calling your insurance company to verify what cost are covered.  We are not certified to see Wisconsin Medical Assistance clients.
