Children’s Mental Health Case Managers assess the needs of the child, develops a plan with other service providers and the child’s family to best address the children’s needs, links the child and family to appropriate community resources and monitors the effectiveness of planned services.  Coordinated activities are designed to help the child with severe emotional disturbance and the child’s family obtain needed mental health services, social services, health services, vocational services, recreational services and related services in the areas of volunteer services, advocacy, transportation and legal services. 

Our Winona County and Fillmore County Children’s Mental Health Case Management Department provides Children’s Mental Health Case Management services for children from infancy through age 21.

Children’s Mental Health Case Management service is only covered by Medical Assistance or Managed Care, however, there are exceptions to this on a case by case basis and our intake specialists will guide you through this process.
