Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is an evidence-based treatment for young children with behavioral problems.  PCIT is conducted through “coaching” sessions during which you and your child are in a playroom while a therapist is in an observation room watching you interact with your child through a one-way mirror.  Using a “bug-in-the-ear” device, the therapist will provide in the moment coaching to help you learn skills on how to handle your child’s behavior.

PCIT is only offered at our Winona Clinic for children ages 2 through 8 years old.
