Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center’s Psychiatry department helps you manage your mental health, whether it is working with a therapist or taking medications and working with a Psychiatrist or a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to maintain stability of your mental wellbeing.

People seek help from our Physiatrist for many reasons. The problems can be sudden, such as a panic attack, thoughts of suicide, or hearing voices.  Or they may be more long-term, such as feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or anxiousness that never seem to lift or problems functioning, causing everyday life to feel distorted or out of control.

Psychiatric services are available to individuals 5 years of age and older.

Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center offers both.  Please contact us for addition information (507) 454-4341

We accept all insurances, however, we recommend calling your insurance company to verify which costs are covered.  We are not certified to see Wisconsin Medical Assistance clients.
