Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center’s Out-Patient Substance Abuse program provides tools to help identify and address substance use issues, which may include; underage substance use, driving offenses, misuse of prescription medication, severe alcohol and other drug use disorders. We offer substance abuse assessments, individual substance abuse counseling, and group substance abuse counseling as well as treatment coordination (including referrals to in-patient substance abuse treatment programs and other out-patient treatment programs in the area, mental health services, and community resources). Substance Abuse assessments and counseling services are available for adolescents as young as 9 years old. Group times are listed below and individual appointments may be scheduled around an individual’s work or school hours.

Winona Clinic

Women’s group: Monday, 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Men’s group: Monday, 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Caledonia Clinic

We currently have no groups running at our Caledonia Clinic.
