Caledonia, MN – Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center (HVMHC) is excited to announce the opening of a new Peer Support Network (PSN) in Caledonia. The new PSN location, located at 221 South Kingston St, Caledonia, MN 55921, will officially open its doors on Friday, March 21, 2025, providing a welcoming space for individuals seeking peer support, connection, and mental wellness resources.

The PSN offers a safe and supportive environment where individuals can engage in social activities, share experiences, and receive guidance from trained professionals. The program is designed to foster community, reduce isolation, and promote mental well-being through shared experiences and mutual support.

“We are thrilled to expand our Peer Support Network to Caledonia,” said Erik Sievers, Executive Director, HVMHC. “This space will serve as a vital resource for those looking to connect with others who understand their journey and can offer meaningful support.”

The Caledonia PSN will be open to all adults who are looking for a supportive community. Participants will have access to a variety of activities, including group discussions, wellness activities, and social events, all aimed at promoting recovery and resilience.

The Caledonia PSN will be open on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The Caledonia PSN marks the fourth PSN offered by HVMHC; they now have a PSN in each city they have a clinic. The first PSN opened in Winona in 2009. The Red Wing PSN opened in May 2024, and the Wabasha PSN opened earlier this year in January.
