Kaitlyn has been a mental health therapist at Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center since 2020, offering outpatient therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults in Winona and Red Wing clinics. She received a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University Moorhead and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

Kaitlyn uses an integrative approach in therapy to best support and meet clients where they are at in life. Her therapeutic approach is driven by person centered interventions, as well as drawing from other evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution- Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness-Based interventions. Kaitlyn’s goals for sessions are to create a safe and collaborative space for client’s to openly share, process stressors, feel heard, and encourage development for clients to meet their end goals.

Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys camping, reading, spending time with her two dogs and loved ones.
